Chief Safety Consultants was created out of a need in industry. For too many years we have preached 'Safety Culture'. We forget, culture doesn't make the people. The people make the culture. So why did we stop teaching our workers to understand? Why did we only focus on 'checking the box' with training that didn't teach? Why did we focus on metrics and not the true measure of a company, it's workers? Chief Safety Consultants focuses on your most valuable asset, your employees. When your workers understand the 'why', safety will follow. It doesn't matter if you are a third-shift welder, a helicopter pilot, or a heavy equipment operator. If you were never taught why you need to be safe and were only instructed on what will happen if something goes wrong, you will only focus on getting reprimanded. Teaching your workers understand safety and how it applies to them will have them focus on a safe job-site.
